Our Mission

The Woodstock Education Schools Foundation was established with the sole purpose of raising and administering funds for the improvement of experiences for Woodstock Students and Teachers.

“Woodstock Elementary School is committed to provide a positive environment in which students advance academically, emotionally, physically, and socially in a challenging learning environment. We will continue to integrate STEAM and provide personalized instruction to meet the needs of learners in a culturally responsive setting to maximize learning in the 21st century.

Although the city of Woodstock has become a progressive, fast-growing suburb of Atlanta, Woodstock Elementary School has remained the community school for more than 100 years. Woodstock Academy was established in the 1880’s, even before the city charter was granted. An early building at a site near our old school facility soon became overcrowded, and a new school was built at the location near the center of Olde Towne.

Due to the rapid growth of our community, we moved into a new, larger facility that can serve 1,100 students in grades K-5. We made this move school year 2004-2005 with 750 students and last year enrolled more than 1,100.

With the efforts of the Woodstock Education Foundation, we can continue to build state of the art programs to educate the emerging generation. “
